The ERA

Have you ever wonder what type of parent you would be? Or what type of kids you would have?

I believe that the type of parent we will be, are the examples our parents has shown us. I was having lunch and there was these family that sat beside my table. They were a family of 5. 3 kids, aged 5-12 I guess. I was absolutely distracted by their conversation. Basically, all 3 kids were having an IPAD of their own. They were talking about apps and how it works and the mother was like 'oh! yea, I couldn't download that. How you manage to do it?' blah, blah, blah... Than I was really amazed with the conversation that the father had with his daughter. You know how, your parents will bribe you to get your chores done? Well, I do remember mine very clearly. My father made a deal with me that if I'm able to get my room clean weekly for a month, he would buy me that barbie play set/ or increase my allowance extra rm50. My point is, the deal only cost rm80 or less. For this particular dad, he pormised his daughter a mac book pro. Wao! Let me be your daughter... hehe...

Looking at them, had made me realised that we definitely had enter into a new era. If any of you are planning on having family, you better be prepare for this... A 1 year old might even ask for an ipad on his/her birthday. If only they could started speaking. hehe...

I think the most important part here is financial planning. The sole income provider has to be very clear on his financial goals for his family. I had seen family that extend their debts just so they are able to get that sports car. Its very fun to drive it around now but in 5 years down the road, you might be stuck with debts that you be unable to pay and living in a lifestyle that doesn't belong to you.

The lesson here is to always planned your finances, reduce debts and have a fat saving account. Therefore, when your children at age 5 asked for ice-cream, you will be able to buy a haagendazz ice-cream for them.

Turning 1

Its baby carol's Birthday! She is turning 1 years old today. Ooohhh!!! she is so big, so fast :) Nowadays, she has one favourite word, which is 'Oooohhhh waoooo!' I'm not too sure where she learn this from but I got a pretty good idea its from my dad.
Me and Mr E decided that we would bring her out for dinner and some play time. Ok, of coz, my mum will be tagging along. Mr E thinks it will be just me, him and baby carol. He must be kidding. I can't handle her alone or even wit Mr E's help. I'm not really a baby person, well, I can be a baby person for a few hours but not for long.
I got all dress up in my Comfy pants from thepoplook, top from forever21. Too bad, I can't bring Jose' thiugh. :( Off we go!

This time, my bag was all baby carol's stuff instead of mine. I guess this is how a MOTHER's handbag will be like. Gosh! I need my space.

We manage to have dinner at KFC and some play time. She was definitely excited and I was definitely tired. 2 hours taking care of her with my mum's help was more exhausting than 8hours work. No matter what, it was a fun evening.

Somthings I learned from to night, Firstly, to tie my hair when I'm taking care of kids. My hands needs to be 100% focus on the kids. Not even a 20% on my hair. It will be absolute trouble as they are always faster than us. Secondly, no big earrings, kids thinks its their brand new toy hanging for them to grab it. Seriously, I'm not kidding. Try wearing a big earring while carrying a 1 year old...
I'm exhausted, signing out. Got a morning meet tomorrow. Good night!

Never Forget

Never forget that you are one of a kind. Never forget that if there weren't any need for you in all your uniqueness to be on this earth, you wouldn't be here in the first place. And never forget, no matter how overwhelming life's challenges and problems seem to be, that one person can make a difference in the world. In fact, it is always because of one person that all the changes that matter in the world come about. So be that one person.

Zumba Master Class

Ever since I got back from my Phuket trip, it had been work and zumba all the way. No time to waste! It was a good experience performing and yes, it was definitely so much fun. Sometimes, people do come up to me and say, 'eh, your so thin already, why exercise?' My dear, exercising is not about being just about thin but I would like to stay fit too. Now, I'm able to challenge Mr E on a run or anything physical.
There will be a massive Zumba gathering on the 14th May 2012, Monday. The event is called Zumba Master Class with Enrique Salomao Wanna know more about zumba? I would highly recommend for you to take part in this event.

Touch Down

I just got back from a trip with my Uni mates. Honestly, all of us needed a break from the hustle and bustle of work and our daily routine. We needed a getaway, a trip to phuket was decided. The agenda of the trip was to pamper ourselves and to once again live life like we are still in uni. The best times of our lives.
Happy Hour by the pool

Taking a sometime to appreciate nature
Will definitely share more on my phuket trip soon.

Happy Labour day!

The reason

The reason of my MIA. This was how I spend my free time recently.
Despite the crazy schedule, Just give me 5 minutes and I will treasure it. Its the only time, I'm able to rest. I was so tired that once I closed my eyes anywhere and anytime, I fallen asleep. Not to worry, as that matter is solved. I'm back to my old schedule. Zumba, Blogging but 1st, my much awaited holiday with my girls. My uni mates.
